M1 Garand

the m1 garand was the standard rifle for the us in WW2 and served in Korea and in Vietnam (limited) general Patton described it as "the greatest battle implement ever devised" this is the weapon to start reenacting with unless your in a heavy weapons platoon or you have a special job such as cook radio operator or driver then you might have a m1 carbine or a Thompson.
it was a 30-06 round. the m1 garand is most famous for the ping sound that happens when the clip is ejected soldiers used this to there advantage by taking an empty clip and then throwing at there helmet to replicate the ping so the enemy would run out thinking our clip was empty.
1903 Springfield

the 1903 Springfield was widely used in basic training but the 1903a3 was used as a sniper rifle early in the war in was also used as a rifleman's weapon early in the war because we were not stocked to fight a war even the the m1 garand came out in 1936 we diddent have enough to fight a world war the later models like the 1903 a4 or 1903a5 were used as snipers from WW2 all the way int Vietnam.the Springfield also saw use in WW1. it was a 30-06 round

the Browning Automatic Rifle was made in 1918 it was a little to late to see combat in WW1 but was used
in WW2 and served in Korea and in Vietnam (limited) the B.A.R was a weapon used in the support of infantry men and while only having a 20 round magazine it was still afective. it was a 30-06 round
M3 Submachine Gun (Grease Gun)

the grease gun was a simplified version of the Thompson that was not very widely used but was a favorite with tankers for its size. they were seen limitedly around d-day were used alot in Korea and in Vietnam it shot a .45cal
Thompson M1A1 (tommy gun)(Trench Sweeper)

the Thompson M1A1 was a simplified version of the 1928 Thompson it was a close quarters weapon and was commonly fired from the hip but dont over do it .
it shot a .45cal
1928 Thompson (tommy gun) (Chicago Typewriter)(Trench Sweeper)

this version is used early in the war and was a rugged design that was used with a Thompson m1a1 for grip but this type is more popularly known as a gangsters gun it shot a .45cal

this shotgun was used in WW1-Korea and was in WW2 more common in the pacific. it shot a 12 gauge primarily but was seen in a 10 gauge

it was one of the mast dependable machine guns ever built it was a water cooled machine gun that's used from WW1-Korea and saw small use by the ROK(republic of Korea) and ARVN(army of the republic of Vietnam) forces in Vietnam.
it was a 30-06 round. this was a good gun when entrenched because of is water-cooling but its water jacket on the gun the water can and tripod were bulky and it took 3-4 people to move it.

M1A1 Rocket Launcher (Bazooka)

the M1A1 rocket launcher got its nick name from 1930s Radio comedian Bob Burns who played an instrument called the bazooka which was similar looking to the rocket launcher the bazooka seen below. Its military use was as an anti-tank weapon although it could not penetrate thick armor such as the armor on the famous panzer or tiger tank.
